Description

Not only will you contribute to the health of our planet, but the “We Care for Children” campaign will benefit from a $2 donation for each tree seedling planted and another $2 donation for each tree shield installed. Open to anyone 12 years and older, but persons under 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult.
Sunday, May 3rd and Saturday, May 9th from 11:30am to 4pm (includes planting and tree shield assembly demonstrations)
Tools provided, including work gloves (or bring your own) and insect spray
Wear long pants, long-sleeve shirt, ball cap (optional), closed-toe shoes (sneakers are ok)
Water and snacks will be provided. Bring your own water bottle
300 Seedlings: White Spruce, White Oak, White Flowering Dogwood, Hackberry, and Sugar Maple
Planting will occur on woodlands owned by Karen Balaban in western Perry County.
